What Kind of Clothing Should I Wear?

Paintballs do not permanently stain your clothes unless you don't wash after playing. We recommend wearing older clothes that are not expensive. Jeans and a t-shirt will work fine depending on the weather. Wearing loose fitting or layered clothing is recommended.

Does It Hurt?

Usually you are more upset that you are eliminated from the game. Many years a ago a panel of medical experts looked into the situation. Using field tests and laws of physics the safety limit of 300 fps was introduced. Markers under this speed ls have the ability to leave some bruising and will sting for a bit after impact but do not injure you for an indefinite time.

How Could I Potentially Be Injured

Paintball has been reported to have less reported injures than Golf and bad mitin. Partly due to strictly enforced safety guidelines. Most of the injuries in paintball are not from the actual impact from paintballs. A recent article stated that injuries were more than one thousand times less likely to occur at an organized "official" paintball field than an "outlaw" play. The fact is most outlaw paintball in the woods is not supervised by trained staff with safety as the number one priority. BSG requests that you do not play if you have recently acquired serious injuries. If you are careful and follow all the safety rules and encourage your peers to do the same you can plan to enjoy a safe day of paintball.
